The WBYC Sail! Messaging Service is a way to coordinate sailing activities with other members of the club. Sail! Messaging is used for Thursday Night Sailing and for spontaneous sailing meet-ups.
Sail! Messaging uses the free GroupMe service. GroupMe accepts text messages, messages from the GroupMe App and messages submitted on the GroupMe website. Each message is forwarded to each person who has joined the group. Each person may elect to receive messages from the group via text message or the GroupMe app. The GroupMe app provides a richer experience than text messages.
