The WBYC Sunday Points Racing Series is now scoring and publishing right here on our website.  The Sunday Series is open to ALL WBYC sailors in any type of boat.  The series currently has Lightnings, Finns, Sunfish, Lasers, a Flying Scot and a Flying Dutchman enrolled.  It's fun to watch and even more fun to participate.  You can see the current standings at THIS LINK

Interested in crewing on a Lightning?  Interested in just going out for a sail and getting to know the Lightning fleet better?  

Join us on Saturday, June 29 for some sailing, food, and fun.  We’ll be putting boats in the water between 3:00 and 3:30 (weather permitting), sailing for a couple of hours, and then enjoying some food, drink and camaraderie.  Every level of sailor is welcome including those who have never stepped on a boat.  Learn the basics of sailing if you're new to the sport, or pick up some of the finer points from an experienced skipper.  Expand your yacht club horizons!  Meet at the south side picnic tables, bring something to share and BYOB.

“Chalk Talk”

At 7:00 PM (Saturday June 29th) we'll have a Chalk Talk by Ed Seyerlein. Ed will cover tactics, good strategies, and looking ahead on how to win. Find out what we are doing right and what we may be doing wrong. And again, every level of sailor is welcome – it's fun to hear about racing rules and strategies (and even a few controversies) even if you haven't been on a boat.
